Laser vinyl etchings and pasty white people...

Okay, guys, here it is. My first blog post! Well, I mean I technically HAD a blog...but does it count if it's myspace? I don't count it. Whatever, all that matters is that I'm doing this one. And it's going to be awesome. So here's a little introduction...

Why did I pick Irish Moontan as a title? Well, I'm of Irish heritage. Easy enough, right? When it comes to moontan, no I'm not making a Golden Earring reference. In reality, I'm as pale as a ghost. Some may call me pasty. Which cracks me up because if you go on urbandictionary.com, most of the definitions of "Pasty" are like "ugly and have no friends"...which feels like a big warm hug to me. Oh well, I'm proud of my lack of pigment, it gives me a uniqueness. So suck it.

I'm a huge geek. Now let me explain something really quick. When you think of "geek" you probably think of a kid with glasses that has no friends and is obsessed with science and video games. Guess what? You're totally wrong. The definition of a geek is this: "A peculiar or otherwise odd person, especially one who is percieved to be overly obsessed with one or more things including those of intellectuality, electronics, etc."

So yes, geeks are a strange people, but we're strange because we have a passion in something. Here's my passion:

These are just a little bit of my collections (kinda sucks because after I took the picture I bought 30 bucks worth of really awesome records INCLUDING the laser etched edition of Styx's "Paradise Theater"! (pretty excited about that!

Well, that's all for my first post! Be sure to join my group on facebook
